CONTRO LE TRUFFE - DALL'ASSOCIAZIONE BANCARIA ITALIANA UN PREZIOSO VADEMECUM


Consigli utili per quando si va in banca; quando si usa il sito internet della banca; quando si preleva o si paga con la carta; quando si investono risparmi; quando si parla di assegni e conto corrente. Cosa fare quando si è stati raggirati, quando si è perso o è stata rubata la carta. Usare le carte di pagamento in piena sicurezza, evitare di cadere nelle frodi online, non correre rischi dopo aver prelevato denaro allo sportello automatico o in succursale. E' quanto contenuto nel "Vademecum contro le truffe": una guida online messa a punto in formato elettronico dall'Associazione bancaria (ABI) con i consigli utili per evitare truffe e inganni, per garantire maggiore sicurezza, in particolare agli anziani e a coloro i quali hanno minore educazione finanziaria. D'ora in poi sarà a disposizione di tutte le Prefetture italiane una guida con i consigli utili per usare gli strumenti di pagamento in piena sicurezza, evitare di cadere nelle frodi online, non correre rischi dopo aver fatto un prelievo di denaro contante. Si tratta di pochi semplici accorgimenti e buone prassi, forniti con un linguaggio semplice e diretto per rafforzare la sicurezza riducendo i fattori di vulnerabilità e i comportamenti economicamente rischiosi. La guida dell'ABI, si rivolge soprattutto alle fasce di popolazione più esposte al rischio di truffa e va ad affiancarsi agli strumenti e alle iniziative di formazione e informazione messe a punto dagli specifici Comitati di coordinamento, istituiti in questi mesi presso le Prefetture di tutto il Paese nell'ambito del protocollo firmato nel maggio del 2016 col Ministero dell'Interno. Obiettivo dell'accordo rafforzare la collaborazione tra banche e Forze dell'ordine per tutelare gli anziani e quanti hanno una scarsa educazione finanziaria, grazie ad una ancor più efficace azione di contrasto e prevenzione dei fenomeni criminali come truffe, frodi, furti.
